Особняк Арсения Морозова - уникальное для Москвы здание, построенное в неомавританском стиле. Дом расположен на на улице Воздвиженка, и сочетает в своей архитектуре элементы эклектики и модерна.
Особняк был построен в 1895—1899 годах архитектором Виктором Мазыриным по заказу богатого купца — Арсения Абрамовича Морозова, двоюродного племянника мецената Саввы Морозова.
Арсений Морозов вместе с Виктором Мазыриным в 1890-х годах путешествовали по Португалии и Испании. Где и увидели знаменитый дворец Пена в Синтре, построенный с элементами мавританской средневековой архитектуры и национального португальского стиля мануэлино. Вернувшись в Москву, Арсений Морозов решил построить себе дом, в стиле дворца Пена. Что он и сделал на учаске земли, подаренном ему к 25-летию.
Ярче всего неомавританский стиль виден в оформлении портала парадного входа и расположенных по бокам двух башен. В других частях особняка можно видеть элементы других архитектурных стилей, например, классические колонны в некоторых оконных проемов. Для модерна характерна общая ассиметричная композиция здания.
После реставрации проведенной в начале XXI века, с января 2006 года особняк действует в качестве Дома приемов Правительства Российской Федерации. Здесь проводятся встречи правительственных делегаций, дипломатические переговоры, международные конференции.

Arseniy Morozov’s Mansion (Reception House of the Government of the Russian Federation)
Arseniy Morozov’s mansion is unique for Moscow architecture. House was build on Vozdvizhenka Street width combines elements of the modern and eclectic in its appearance, includes an example of stylisation in a neoromantic spirit.
Architect Viktor Mazyrin constructed this building in 1895-1899 by order of his friend Arseniy Abramovich Morozov, a representative of a rich merchant dynasty and second nephew of famous patron Savva Morozov.
Arseniy Morozov together with Viktor Mazyrin in the early 1890s travelled through Spain and Portugal. They were in admiration at the Portuguese Pena Palace in Sintra built with elements of Spanish-Moorish mediaeval architecture and national Manueline style. On his return to Moscow, Arseniy Morozov decided to build himself a house on the style of Pena Palace. He made his dream a reality on a plot that was given to him by his mother for his 25th birthday.
The neo-Moorish style is most obviously manifested in the design of the portal of the parade entrance and two towers on its sides. In the remaining parts of the mansion, elements of different styles can sometimes be seen, for example some window openings are flanked with classical columns. The overall composition of the mansion with an emphasised absence of symmetry of parts of the building is characteristic of the modern architecture.
In January 2006, the mansion was opened after reconstruction as the Reception House of the Government of the Russian Federation. It is used for holding meetings of government delegations, diplomatic negotiations, and conferences of international organisations.
